Coral Tooth, Hericium coralloides, is a close cousin of Lion's Mane and has all of the same medicinal compounds and qualities. Along with Bear's Head Tooth, these three mushrooms make up the known edible Hericium species in our part of the world. Interestingly, Lion's Mane seems to be the least favorite in terms of flavor, for most people familiar with the genus. A number of our customers consider these to be their favorite mushroom to eat. They are hearty, resilient, and prolific an excellent candidate for home cultivation that can fruit 5+ times from a single kit.
