Learn to Grow Mushrooms At Home!
This two and a half hour class will focus on home and hobby level cultivation; supplying participants with the basic tools to begin their journey into mushroom cultivation with confidence.
We'll begin with a discussion of basic
fungal anatomy and what species can or cannot be cultivated. Followed by
a quick breakdown of the general process by which most mushrooms are
grown.
Finally we'll focus on growing mushrooms at home using low-tech methods and minimal equipment. Including how to create indoor or outdoor spaces for growing mushrooms and creating your own pasteurized substrates.
Each participant will receive their own mushroom grow kit, a $30 value, and detailed personal instruction as well as access to a comprehensive slideshow designed for use in our 6-hour cultivation courses; as well as a 20%-25% discount on any additional kits, fresh mushrooms, mushroom jerky, t-shirts, or other merchandise purchased the day of the class.
