Have questions about mushrooms?
Want to know how and why you should eat them?
Are you curious about their medicinal and ecological uses?

Well, then Join us for a 3.5 hour class on all things mushroom!

We'll start with an overview of the historic use of the nutritional, medicinal, and culinary aspects of fungi, molds, and mushrooms and their importance in various cultures over time. With  peer-reviewed, published references to modern studies that support the use of fungi in the treatment and prevention of various diseases.

Followed by a small 3 course mushroom lunch and discussion about how to use mushrooms in  delicious, everyday cooking.

We will finish the afternoon discussing some of the fascinating and astonishing uses of fungi in science, industry, and gardening. As well as our unique observations about the animal-like, decision making, problem solving behavior of mushrooms that we've had the privilege of observing over the years.

All attendees will receive a 20% to 25% discount on any fresh mushrooms, grow kits, tinctures, mushroom jerky, or other products purchased the day of the class.
